Hunter I-40 Sprinklers Used for FIFA WWC Field Upgrade

In preparation for the hosting of the Women’s World Cup in New Zealand, FIFA worked with a number of councils to upgrade their fields to International standard. One of these was the No.1 field at Keith Hay Park, home of Auckland United Football Club. This was chosen to be the training ground for the Football Ferns and received a complete upgrade of the turf, drainage, irrigation and lighting. Working with Recreational Services, we supplied Hunter I-40 Opposing Nozzle sprinklers for their superior uniformity and “big stadium” visual appeal. The project was a huge success and the AUFC Chairman Murray Holdsworth said “The surface is absolutely incredible and the club couldn’t be more blown away by the final results of all the hard work from many people over the past months to prepare the pitch, irrigation, and lighting.” For the full article, click the link
